Work Methodology ( Process )
For flawlessly handling of printing services, we have divided the involved
operations under different well defined work units. These include inspection
of fabric, pre-treatment, printing, post -treatment and final inspection.
The details include:
For Non Polyester Fabrics:
The process flow of Digital Printing on all non polyester
fabrics is as below:
Inspection of Fabric: The goods are well inspected for all kinds of
physical damage. During this process the quantity received is checked
against the quantity mentioned in delivery challan. Any unusual damage and
shortage is reported to the client.
Pre-Treatment: After physical inspection the fabric is sent for
coating or Padding. This process is essential for all non polyester fabrics.
During this process, the fabric is coated with chemicals & prepared for
printing. A special recipe of chemicals along with other salts (like urea,
alginate) are used in this process. Although we chemically coat the fabric,
however, printed fabrics are harmless to environment and skin. (of both
adults and infants). Even the chemicals used in this process are sourced
from the best and most renowned companies like Huntsman.
Printing: Once the fabric is treated with chemicals, it can be
directly printed. Inkjet printing machines are used to print the fabrics.
PostTreatment: Printed Fabric is steamed at high temperatures
(mostly 102 degree for 10 minutes) by using special agers (mostly STAR or
Continuous, Depending upon the fabric and print). This process is important
to fix the dyes on the fabric. Once the fabric is steamed, it is washed well
to ensure that the extra dyes and chemicals are washed out. The fabric is
finished with softeners during this stage.
Final inspection: The goods are well inspected for all kinds of print
defects, hand feel & physical damage. During this process the quantity
in meters is also measured and final delivery note is generated. Any unusual
damage and problem is reported to the client. Further, goods are packed as
per clients instructions.
For Polyester Fabrics:
The process flow of Digital Printing on all non polyester
fabrics is as below:
Inspection of Fabric: The goods are well inspected for all kinds of
physical damage. During this process the quantity received is checked
against the quantity mentioned in delivery challan. Any unusual damage and
shortage is reported to the client.
Printing: For printing polyester fabric, special heat transfer
technique is used. In order to transfer the print on fabric, we print
specially treated paper by the ink jet plotters. The ink used in this
process are disperse inks. The paper of various widths and grades are
available in the market. In order to ensure best quality we import paper and
inks from Switzerland. The printed paper is sent for heat transfer.
Heat Transfer: It is the process in which the printed paper is
transferred on the fabric. In order to transfer, hot press machines are
used. It can either be done in roll form or in cut piece form. The machine
is heated upto 200 degree and the print is transferred onto the fabric
within 2-3 minutes of exposure.
Final inspection: The goods are well inspected for all kinds of
print defects, hand feel & physical damage. During this process the
quantity in meters is also measured and final delivery note is generated.
Any unusual damage and problem is reported to the client. Further, goods are
packed as per clients instructions. The Hand feel of the fabric does not
change in this process.
Special Fabrics like sequenced and surface treated fabrics (where surface
treatement is done using polyester blended material) can be printed with
this technique.

artwork)
Design Charges: It is the charge taken for developing the file. (It
depends on the man-hours taken to develop a design)
Printing Charges: It is the cost per meter charged for printing the
fabric. : USD 15 per meter for 44 width woven fabric
Our minimum order size is 10 meters. We are freely accessible on emails and

Process & Precautions
Precautions while submitting the job
Printtech's Design Studio specializes in undertaking assignments for

converting client specific concepts & artwork into printable file
formats.
We accept files in following formats/resolution:
- Tiff
